【 Shanlu Science 】What is quartz sand wet production line?

2024-03-05

Quartz sand wet production line is an industrial production process for the production of quartz sand, using the wet process for crushing, crushing, sorting and purification. Compared with the dry production line, the wet production line is more suitable for the treatment of raw materials with higher water content in quartz ore, and in some cases can achieve more effective purification and particle size control of quartz sand.

Quartz sand wet production lines usually include the following main process steps:

1. Crushing and crushing: After the primary crushing of raw quartz ore, enter the wet grinding machine for crushing. In the wet sanding machine, quartz ore is mixed with water to form a mortar-like material, which is ground by the sanding machine to achieve the required particle size.

2. Washing and impurity removal: After grinding the quartz sand mortar into the washing equipment, through washing and impurity removal, remove the surface impurities, soil, etc., to improve the purity of quartz sand.

3. Screening and sorting: After washing, the quartz sand mortar enters the screening equipment, which is screened and sorted by vibrating screen and other equipment to control the particle size and distribution of quartz sand.

4. Purification and concentration: After preliminary screening and sorting, the quartz sand mortar is purified and concentrated to remove residual impurities and water content, and improve the purity and quality of quartz sand.

5. Drying and packaging: Finally, the purified and concentrated quartz sand is dried to achieve the required moisture content, and packaged, stored or directly supplied to the market for use.

Quartz sand wet production line is characterized by being able to deal with quartz ore raw materials with high water content, and can remove impurities more effectively in the process of purification and separation, and improve the purity and quality of quartz sand. However, compared to dry production lines, wet production lines usually require more water resources, and factors such as water treatment and environmental protection need to be considered in equipment design and operation.
