The safety operation specifications for electromagnetic dry powder magnetic
separators are as follows:
1. Operators must undergo professional training, be familiar with equipment
structure, working principles, and operating procedures, and hold certificates
before taking up their posts.
Before starting up, check whether all components of the equipment are intact,
whether the fasteners are loose, and whether the electrical circuits are
reliably connected to ensure that there are no abnormalities before
starting.
When starting the equipment, the cooling system must be turned on first, and
then the power supply, magnetic field system, and feeding system must be started
in sequence. Reverse operation is strictly prohibited.
During operation, the equipment should be regularly inspected for its
operating status, observing whether vibration, temperature rise, noise, current,
and voltage are normal. If any abnormalities are found, the machine should be
stopped immediately for inspection.
5. It is strictly prohibited for the equipment to idle or operate for a long
time without the load cooling system or magnetic field system being started, in
order to prevent coil burnout.
6. It is prohibited to bring metal tools or other strongly magnetic objects
close to the magnetic separation area to avoid danger caused by adsorption.
7. Strictly control the feed particle size and flow rate to avoid equipment
blockage or damage caused by overload operation.
8. Regularly clean the magnetic impurities adsorbed in the magnetic
separation zone to ensure the stability of separation efficiency and magnetic
strength.
When stopping the machine, the feeding should be stopped first, then the
magnetic field system, power supply, and cooling system should be turned off in
sequence, and finally the main power supply should be cut off. It is strictly
prohibited to stop the machine with load.
10. Power off operation is necessary during daily maintenance, and clear
maintenance warning signs should be set up during the inspection process to
prevent misoperation.
When the equipment is not in use for a long time, it should be treated with
moisture-proof and dust-proof measures, and regularly powered on for preheating
to prevent damage to the electromagnetic system caused by moisture.
12. Strictly follow the operating procedures and strictly prohibit
unauthorized modification or disassembly of equipment components to avoid
affecting safe operation.
The above operating standards are intended to ensure stable operation of
equipment and personal safety of personnel, and must be strictly
implemented.
