To compensate for the insufficient intensity of the light source, operators may be forced to increase sensitivity or lower the rejection threshold, thereby affecting the overall yield and recovery rate, increasing the loss of good products, and reducing economic benefits.

Therefore, it is crucial to regularly inspect and replace the light source of the color sorter. It is recommended to regularly replace the light source according to the service life provided by the equipment manufacturer to maintain the stability of the recognition system. For high-frequency quartz sand production lines, a light source attenuation monitoring function should be installed to ensure long-term stable and reliable color selection effects.
