1. Mild problem (does not affect normal production, needs to be adjusted in a
timely manner)
The main manifestations are a 3% -4% deviation in grading accuracy and slight
exceedance of overflow concentration, mostly due to fluctuations in feed volume
and improper pressure regulation. Disposal measures: Stabilize the feeding
amount at 85% -90% of the rated value of the equipment through a variable
frequency feeding system to avoid instantaneous fluctuations; Calibrate the feed
pressure and control it at 0.2-0.3MPa (adapted according to the specifications
of the cyclone), with a pressure deviation not exceeding ± 0.02MPa; Clean the
feed inlet grille daily to remove oversized impurities (particle size>1mm)

The main manifestations are classification accuracy deviation>4%, slight
blockage of the cyclone chamber, and excessive overflow sand content. The core
causes are improper structural adaptation of the cyclone and uneven distribution
of feed particle size. Optimization measures: Adjust the size of the overflow
port and bottom flow port of the cyclone according to the distribution of quartz
sand particle size (fine sand classification is compatible with a Φ 50-80mm
overflow port), optimize the internal flow channel of the cyclone chamber, and
reduce blind spots in classification; Equipped with a grading pretreatment
device, the feed is subjected to coarse screening to ensure uniform particle
size; Install overflow concentration monitoring device, provide real-time
feedback data, and adjust feed pressure and flow rate in a timely manner in case
of abnormalities.
3. Serious issues (causing downtime, requiring professional handling)
The main manifestations are severe blockage of the swirl chamber, no

by impurity accumulation, severe wear of the swirl chamber, or structural
deformation. Disposal process: Immediately stop the machine and cut off the
feed, use a high-pressure water gun (pressure 0.4-0.6MPa) to flush the cyclone
chamber, and clean the blocked impurities; Check the wear of the inner wall of
the swirl chamber. If the wear exceeds 25% of the original thickness, replace
