Working principle

The clarified liquid (overflow) produced by concentration is left in the thickener and discharged by the annular chute at the top; Concentration process: The pulp entering the pool gradually naturally forms five different zones. Clarification zone, free settling zone, precipitation zone, concentration zone, slime zone; The thickening of pulp begins in the free settling zone, but the main thickening process takes place in the thickening zone.


Advantages and characteristics

1. Use the lower deep feeding method

According to the theory of deep settling, deep feeding shorens the settling distance of solid particles, makes coarse particles sink into the compression zone quickly, relatively reduces the concentration of mud water in the middle and upper part of the pool, and is conducive to the settling of fine particles. Due to the use of lower deep feeding, forcing the fine particles into the upper part of the compression zone, at this time, the collision of dense particles greatly reduces their energy, so that the fine particles remain and can not float, thereby increasing the concentration of underflow and reducing the solid content of the overflow.

2. Use higher rake speed

Because the concentrator has a larger processing capacity than the ordinary concentrator, the higher rake speed can be used to scrape the sediment at the bottom to the central discharge port in time, and it is not easy to have a press rake accident. When the driving power is constant, the speed of the rake frame is high, the driving torque is reduced, it is not easy to press the rake, and the rake frame is not easy to twist.

3. Use larger pool depth

There are two main reasons for using a larger pool depth, which can give a higher static pressure in the compression zone of the thickener and increase the settling concentration time in the pool. Minimize the amount of solids contained in the overflow.

4. Adjustable rake speed

Because the oil pump of the hydraulic station is a variable pump, the speed of the rake can be adjusted by adjusting the displacement of the variable pump to adapt to various process conditions and achieve the best process effect.

5. The main body of the rake frame is made of steel pipe

In order to reduce the resistance of the rake frame running in water, increase the strength, and increase the buoyancy, the rake frame is made of steel pipe. This structure can reduce the power consumption during the operation of the equipment.

6. Reliable lubrication system

The transmission system of the NM series thickener is in a completely closed transmission box. The lubricating oil in the transmission box can immerse the transmission gear and the outer gear ring of the slewing support. This lubrication system is reliable and sufficient. It can maximize the life of transmission gear and slewing support rings.
