The low screening efficiency of circular vibrating screens can result in
inaccurate grading of quartz sand products and slow down production progress.
These techniques can effectively improve the situation.
Firstly, check the tension of the screen mesh. If the screen mesh is loose,
it will cause insufficient jumping amplitude of sand and gravel on the screen
surface, making it difficult to fully pass through. Tighten the screen mesh in a
timely manner to ensure that the screen surface is flat and tight.
Secondly, adjust the inclination angle of the screen surface. If the
inclination angle is too small, the sand and gravel will move too slowly on the
screen surface, accumulate and block the screen holes. If the inclination angle
is too large, the sand and gravel will pass through the screen surface too
quickly, resulting in insufficient screening. Adjust the angle to a reasonable
angle according to the particle size of the sand and gravel.
Then regularly clean the sieve, using a high-pressure water gun or brush to
remove blocked sieve holes, avoiding sand and gravel jamming, and ensuring the
sieve is transparent.
Finally, control the feeding amount and feeding speed, feed evenly, and avoid
overloading the screening surface due to excessive feeding at once, which may
affect the screening effect.
Proper maintenance and parameter adjustment of the sieve mesh can effectively
improve the screening efficiency of the circular vibrating screen and ensure
accurate classification of quartz sand.
