Working principle
The rod mill is driven by the motor through the reducer and the surrounding big gear or by the low-speed synchronous motor directly through the surrounding big gear to drive the cylinder to turn. Under the action of centrifugal force and friction force, the steel rod is lifted to a certain height and falls in a throwing or draining state. The ground material is continuously entered into the cylinder by the feeding port, crushed by the moving steel rod, and the qualified particle size product is discharged from the cylinder through the overflow and the continuous feeding force to carry out the next process operation.
Rod mill discharge method is the use of overflow type, open discharge method, its discharge end hollow journal diameter is larger than the same specification ball mill, in the ore is not too hard or soft (especially viscous ore), the rod mill can replace the short head for fine crushing operation, processing 19-30mm ore grinding to 6-12 mesh, than the cone broken and sieve divided into closed circuit configuration simple, Low cost. The rod mill has the following advantages:
