Uneven drying of quartz sand dryer can result in uneven dryness and wetness
of the finished sand and gravel, affecting subsequent use. These debugging
methods can effectively improve the situation.
Firstly, adjust the feeding speed. If the feeding is too fast, the sand and
gravel will not stay in the cylinder for enough time, making it difficult to
fully dry. If the feeding is too slow, it will reduce the drying efficiency.
Feed uniformly and stably according to the capacity of the dryer.
Secondly, adjust the temperature and air volume of the hot air. If the hot
air temperature is too low, it cannot quickly remove the moisture in the sand
and gravel. If the temperature is too high, it may cause the sand and gravel to
overheat and discolor. Reasonably match the hot air temperature and air volume
to ensure that the heat can evenly cover the sand and gravel.
Then clean the lifting plate. If the lifting plate is worn or blocked by sand
and gravel, it will not be able to fully lift the sand and gravel, resulting in
uneven heating. Replace the worn lifting plate in a timely manner, clean the
blocked debris, and ensure that the sand and gravel can be fully dispersed
inside the cylinder.
Finally, adjust the rotating speed of the cylinder. If the rotating speed is
too fast, the sand and gravel will pass through the cylinder quickly. If the
rotating speed is too slow, the sand and gravel will accumulate at the bottom of
the cylinder. If the rotating speed is too slow, the sand and gravel will be
overheated locally. The sand and gravel will be heated evenly by matching the
reasonable rotating speed.
Proper parameter debugging and equipment maintenance can make the drying
effect of quartz sand more uniform and ensure the quality of finished
products.
