Dry process technology has significant advantages in water scarce areas or water sensitive processing scenarios. Taking the typical dry processing process route as an example: the raw ore is roughly crushed to below 30mm by a jaw crusher, and then sent to a ZSL vertical sand making machine for fine crushing and shaping by a belt conveyor. The ZSL vertical sand making machine designed by Shanlu Heavy Industry adopts the principle of stone crushing. The material obtains kinetic energy under the action of high-speed rotating impellers and collides with the lining plate or material layer for crushing. The particle size of the equipment can be controlled within the range of 0.5-5mm, and the finished sand particles are cubic in shape with a needle like proportion of less than 8%. The crushed material is sent to the YBF square swing screen for precise classification through a bucket elevator. The screening machine adopts planar rotary motion, and the number of layers on the screening surface can be configured as 2-4 according to demand. The screening efficiency is stable at over 95%, and multiple specifications of products such as 20-40 mesh, 40-70 mesh, and 70-140 mesh can be separated at once. The coarse particles on the sieve are returned to the sand making machine for further crushing, and the fine powder on the sieve is collected before entering the next process.

Dry iron removal is required for graded sand materials of various specifications. Shanlu Heavy Industry is equipped with CXT dry permanent magnet drum magnetic separator in the production line for preliminary iron removal. The device uses rare earth neodymium iron boron magnetic material, and the magnetic field strength on the surface of the drum can reach 4000Gs. After the sand is evenly distributed, it enters the magnetic field area of the drum, and the magnetic particles are adsorbed on the surface of the drum and discharged with the rotation of the drum to the non-magnetic area. The non-magnetic sand naturally falls down and is collected. After CXT magnetic separation, the removal rate of strong magnetic iron impurities in sand can reach over 90%. For products with higher requirements, Shandong Heavy Industry can add CXG high field permanent magnet roller magnetic separators for deep iron removal after CXT. The magnetic field strength of the roller table of this equipment can reach over 12000Gs, suitable for the separation of weak magnetic impurities in fine particles in dry powder, and can further reduce the Fe ₂ O Ⅲ content to below 80ppm. RCYD permanent magnet suspension iron remover can also be configured in the production line, installed above each belt conveyor, as a protective iron remover during the conveying process, to remove mixed iron filings, bolts and other mechanical iron, and protect the safe operation of downstream equipment.

For scenarios that require micro powder grade products, Shanlu Heavy Industry can configure MQX dry fine powder ball mill for fine grinding, and obtain narrow particle size products within the range of D90=10-45 μ m through QF vertical airflow classifier after discharge. The graded micro powder is further subjected to deep iron removal by an electromagnetic dry powder magnetic separator, which has an adjustable magnetic field strength of up to 18000 Gs and is suitable for powder purification in the range of 10-100 microns.

In terms of dust removal on the production line, Shanlu Heavy Industry is equipped with pulse bag dust collectors to centrally collect dust at various dust points, with emission concentrations below 30mg/m ³, meeting environmental protection requirements. The collected dust can be incorporated into fine powder products to achieve resource utilization.
