Taking the typical dry purification and grading process route as an example:
the raw ore is crushed into coarse and medium sizes (particle size 0.5-5mm), and
then sent by a belt conveyor to a photoelectric color sorter for pre sorting.
The color sorter utilizes the differences in optical properties of materials for
sorting. Based on the color differences between quartz and impurity minerals, it
uses AI intelligent algorithms and high-speed sensors to image particles at the
micrometer level, accurately identifying particles with different colors and
impurities. The color selection accuracy can reach over 99.9%, and a large
number of visible colored particles and associated minerals can be directly
removed after coarse crushing. Compared to traditional manual sorting, color
sorting machines have high processing efficiency and do not require manual
intervention, significantly reducing the load of subsequent grinding and
magnetic separation.
After color selection, the quartz sand enters the YBF square rocking screen
for precise grading. The device adopts planar rotary motion, and the number of
screening layers can be configured as 2-4 layers according to requirements. The
screening efficiency is stable at over 95%, and multiple specifications of
products such as 20-40 mesh, 40-70 mesh, 70-140 mesh, -140 mesh can be separated
at once. Compared with conventional vibrating screens, swing screens have better
screening effects on fine powder materials, especially suitable for dry powder
classification operations. Screen the coarse particles and return them to the
crushing system for further processing. Each specification of product enters the
next process separately.
For scenarios that require micro powder grade products, Shanlu Heavy Industry
will configure MQX dry fine powder ball mills for ultrafine grinding after
classification. The cylinder is lined with ceramic or silica lining plates, and
high-purity zirconia balls or high alumina balls are used as grinding media to
minimize iron contamination during the grinding process. The discharge is
classified by a QF vertical airflow classifier, and by adjusting the speed of
the classification wheel and the secondary air volume, narrow particle size
products with D90=5 μ m, 10 μ m, 20 μ m, 45 μ m and other specifications can be
obtained. The graded coarse powder is returned to the ball mill for further
grinding, forming a closed-loop circulation. The particle size distribution of
the finished product is concentrated, and there is less over grinding
phenomenon.
If surface modification is required for the graded micro powder, Shanlu Heavy
Industry can configure a continuous powder surface modification machine. This
device has both modification and dispersion functions, and is suitable for
surface coating modification of various powders such as quartz powder. The
powder repeatedly interacts with the modifier in the modification chamber to
evenly coat the surface of the particles, which can significantly improve the
compatibility between quartz powder and organic matrix, and enhance the
mechanical and processing properties of downstream products.
Each dust point on the production line is equipped with a pulse bag dust
collector for centralized dust collection, with an emission concentration of
less than 30mg/m ³. The collected dust can be treated as a byproduct or returned
to the system for further processing based on its purity. The production line is
equipped with LC automatic weighing feeders to achieve precise feeding and
ensure stable feeding in each process.
